Weekend Round Up!

This past weekend was so fun! Friday after work, the hubs and I headed to Charlotte to spend the weekend with our newlywed friends Lauren & Daniel. They just bought a town home and live in the Ballantyne area. Y'all, it is SO nice! It has great restaurants all around and just looks so clean. I could have stayed. ;)

We started our weekend off with a tour of their new home, a glass of wine for the girls and beer for the boys, and then out to eat. We ate at Stone Mountain Grill. HOLY GOODNESS. It was amazingggg! I had the Firecracker Shrimp Wrap. I scarfed it down and didn't snap a picture. It was just too good. My girlfriend had the Firecracker Shrimp Tacos. They were soft on the outside and had a crunchy taco on the inside. We were thoroughly impressed. I kinda wanted to go back Saturday night but we hit up a restaurant in NoDa.

Friday night.

We then headed out over by South Park to a block party they were having. It was fun and the band was amazing! I forget their name, but they were from Atlanta. They had 3 girls singing in short sequin dress & then a full band. Here is a little snapshot.

We then headed to the Monford area to catch up with another couple and check out the bars there. We only went to one bar because we had to get up the next day for the Wells Fargo PGA Championship at Quail Hollow.

Our hostess for the weekend. Can you tell we've had a few cocktails? :)

We had a slow morning on Saturday but they prepared an awesome breakfast for us and we were all of to the course!

Daniel is a giant; we had no troubles finding him in a crowd.

Sweet friend!

Saturday night we hit up Revolution in NoDa. It's a great pizza spot that has a TON of different beers; right up my husband's alley. It was our first time in NoDa and it was...interesting. HA! We ate pizza there and called it a night. I wasn't feeling the best so I was all for heading back to the house. All in all, we had a FABULOUS weekend and can't wait to go back & do it all over again soon. :)

Hope y'alls weekend was great too!

xoxo,
H
